Children perform musicals, but also learn about the Christian way how to treat each other. KISI strengthens the children's relationship with Jesus Christ and that's exactly why it's so valuable.

What's important to us

If you support or trust us with your children, you should be sure we're trustworthy. That's why we tell you more about things that are important to us here: Our principles, our faith and our education.

What I like about KISI is the combination of music, being with children and the faith. (...) I also love the fact that KISI is such a big family.

Our principles

Learn to discover God

We wish that our children and teenagers learn to love God and to rediscover him agin and again. That's why KISI offers church services, creative catechesis' sessions and Bible studies, that are both funny and profound.

Awaken new talents

Young people are full of amazing potential and we hope that they will discover and use it. It doesn't matter if it's about singing, dancing, organising or doing other things.

Live fellowship

Young people need a community they can trust and rely on, where they feel safe. That's why we deliberately promote togetherness that goes beyond country borders and we encourage having fun being together.

Share the good news

Children can share their faith too. Especially their enthusiasm and sincerity, touch hearts. And the sharing and singing keeps their faith alive.

Live each day with Jesus

We hope that the children also live as believers at home and don't leave a KISI meeting to return to a daily life without God. That's why we encourage them to follow Jesus each day.

For us as a family, the most important thing is for our children to be able to find their own faith. That they don't just inherit the faith from us, but that they are challenged to find out the truth for themselves. That's what's so valuable for us with KISI.
Simone, KISI staff member from Germany

Our faith

The Holy Scripture

The Bible is the foundation of our faith. What we live and teach is based on the Word of God.

The Roman catholic church

Our roots in the catholic church are important to us and shape our life of faith.

Jesus as centre

Jesus is our highest priority. He's the centre of our faith.

A Mobile church

We live fellowship, especially when we're underway and we consider this an important element of the church.

Actively lived faith

We want the faith to shape our whole life and for it to become visible and effective.

A Ecumenical mission

We learn so many valuable things from our protestant, free church and messianic jewish KISIs and live the ecumenism with all our heart.

Prayers

At KISI we love talking to God. We do that with our own words as well as with some pre-formulated prayers, that express our concerns very well. Next to the well known Christian prayers such as the 'our Father' the following two are prayers we regularly pray:

KISI Prayer

Heavenly Father,
You love everyone,
especially children.
You love me! And I thank you.
Thank you for our KISI family.
Let us get to know you better today.
Let me use my talents for you.

Here I am, Lord!
Help me spread your Good News.
Come Holy Spirit, live in me!
Bless all the KISIs (list specific names or concerns).
Glory to Jesus Christ forever and ever,

Amen.

Prayer of Adoration

God, You are my Father.
You made heaven and earth.
You made me and I thank you!
Father, I give my life back into your hands.
It belongs to you. I belong to you!
You are my Lord and my God.
I receive new life from you.
I worship you!
Amen.

At KISI you learn more and more about God and you find real friends. You're able to talk about problems. The small-groups where we discuss different things, are the best thing about KISI in my opinion. And the performances of course.
Magdalena, 13 years old from Austria

Our education

Teach values

We want to teach children the Christian values and give them security and orientation by doing so.

Live like at home

We want to create an environment where the children feel like in a family.

Being accepted

It's important to us to accept one another. Someone who knows he's loved, goes through life confidently.

Situation elasticity

With children, not everything is plan-able. We want to stay flexible enough to be able to react spontaneously to opportunities and problems.

Joy

The joy of the children of God is clearly visible in children. We want to foster that joy and preserve it.

Quality honours God

Only the best for our God! That's why we constantly work on our artistic quality – accordingly to the group level.
